Privacy Policy

Effective 20 July 2026

Introduction

Onome ("we", "us", "our") operates the Onome mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Device Identifier: We generate a unique device identifier (UUID) stored on your device, used for analytics and usage tracking. Location Data: GPS data is collected only during active runs (including the countdown phase). Location data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Health & Fitness Data: Pace, distance, duration and related metrics are stored locally on your device. Usage Analytics: We collect workout creation events, creation method, completed run count and timestamps. This data is tied to your device identifier and transmitted to our servers. Crash & Diagnostics: We use Sentry to collect device information, operating system version and crash stack traces for stability improvements. Images & Voice Recordings: When you use the workout creation feature, photos or voice recordings are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to an AI model provider for processing. That provider is currently OpenAI. These are not stored by Onome.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: • Provide and operate the running and fitness service • Track usage patterns to improve the app experience • Diagnose crashes and technical issues via Sentry • Process voice and image input to create workouts via OpenRouter and its AI model providers

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may process your data: • Sentry: crash reporting and diagnostics (receives device info, OS version, crash traces) • OpenRouter: AI gateway that routes workout creation requests to model providers (receives photos/voice recordings transiently) • OpenAI: AI model provider used for workout creation via OpenRouter (receives photos/voice recordings transiently) • Google Maps SDK: map rendering (receives viewport location coordinates) • Expo: push notification delivery (receives device push token) Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
